Do you need a fast and officially recognized language certificate for your naturalization, permanent residence permit (C permit), or residence permit (B permit)?

As an official SDS examination center, we offer you the Swiss Digital Language Test (SDS) throughout German-speaking Switzerland. The test is recognized by fide and assesses your skills from level A1 to B2.

Who is the SDS suitable for?

The Swiss Digital Language Test is ideal if you:

  • Need an official certificate for naturalization.
  • Require proof of language proficiency for a C or B residence permit.
  • Need to demonstrate your German skills for job applications or studies.

Why take the SDS exam with us?

The SDS is the modern alternative to traditional language exams. It is paperless, stress-free, and adapts to your ability level.

  • Recognized throughout Switzerland: Listed by the fide office and accepted by all migration offices and naturalization authorities.
  • Super-fast results: You will receive your certificate within 3 working days.
  • Guaranteed outcome: Thanks to the adaptive system, you will always receive a certificate stating your current level (A1–B2). No “failing” possible!
  • Flexible: Registration and cancellation up to 48 hours before the exam date.
  • Locations: Weekly in Zurich. Monthly in Bern, St. Gallen, Lucerne, Basel, and Olten.

What does “adaptive language test” mean?

The SDS is conducted on a tablet (no IT skills required). What makes it special: the test is adaptive.

This means that the questions continuously adjust to your abilities. Not sure whether your level is A2 or B1? No problem. The SDS individually determines your level in Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

Your advantage: You can achieve different levels in the oral and written parts and will always receive proof of your current skills.
