I originally come from Germany, but have lived in Switzerland for over 10 years and have worked as a language trainer and examiner for various schools and organizations since 2009. I have always loved language and culture, which is why I studied history and German. To this day, I remain a bookworm and would like to share my passion for language, culture, tradition, and history by designing lessons with enthusiasm, fun, and motivating activities, while also incorporating intercultural training alongside language instruction.

Being a language teacher is fun and a great privilege. I have been teaching for more than ten years now, and I am still looking forward to meeting new students. I enjoy talking to my classes or having a nice cup of tea with my private students.
There has been a rumour that what I like most is giving a lot of homework, but that’s not true. There’s one thing I like even more: Grammar. 😉

For over 30 years, I have been sharing my extensive experience, practical knowledge, and thus sound expertise with learners with great joy, patience, and dedication. Originally trained as a teacher, I transitioned to teaching adults who speak a foreign language due to increased immigration and the resulting desire for integration. Measurable successes, often noticeable after just a few lessons, continue to motivate me in pursuing my passion.

Hi! My name is Vanessa. I love languages and find interaction with people energizing so, what better professional choice is there than to teach languages? My teaching philosophy can be summed up in these wise words that I once read: ``Learning is directly proportional to the amount of fun you are having.`` I hold a degree in English Language and Literature and I have been teaching English for 25 years, now. I lived in Minneapolis, MN, USA for 10 years and 8 years ago, life brought me to this language paradise that is Switzerland. I'm looking forward to meeting my new students at the language center!

I was born in Krakow: a beautiful city in the south of Poland, where I got my M.A. in English and psychology. I’ve been an English teacher for twelve years now. I lived in England for a long time and have a lot of appreciation for British culture, traditions and customs.
What I love about teaching is being able to interact with all kinds of people and sharing my lifelong passion for the English language.
