Language School in Winterthur

Language Center Winterthur was founded in Winterthur in 1996.

For two decades, we have consistently taught in small groups or individually, offering focused, high-quality language courses.

The Language Center sees itself as a professional private language school, specializing in the language learning needs of adults and businesses.

We teach in Winterthur, Zurich and online. In Winterthur we teach in attractive premises on the Haldengut grounds in the former Haldengut Brewery, on Rychenbergstrasse in Winterthur, just a few minutes from the main train station, at the foot of the Goldenberg hill. In Zürich we are in walking distance from the main station.

Language Learning in Small Groups

You’ll have the opportunity to speak, discuss topics together, and explore various themes. Our teacher will support and encourage you wherever you need it – hiding or getting lost in the shuffle of a small group is impossible.

Language Learning in Private Lessons

Whatever you’re looking for, we have the right option for you.

We teach you one-on-one in private lessons, completely tailored to your needs: Benefit from our private lessons in German, English, French, Italian, and Spanish.

Tell us what you need. We’ll create a goal-oriented program for you. You choose the day and time. We provide the lessons. Benefit from the years of experience of our teachers: Your questions will be answered competently and with a focus on solutions by our qualified instructors. We’re here to help!

Language Courses for Companies

We take care of the entire organization of your training project or parts of it: planning, implementation, and quality control of the language training for your employees – an area in which we bring extensive expertise that we are happy to share with you.

We offer a wide range of training programs either at your company premises or in our own facilities. Benefit from our 20 years of experience: we have successfully carried out both smaller and larger training projects – with over 100 participants per week – and are familiar with the challenges and opportunities of in-company training formats. Every company is different, and so are its language training needs: let’s work together to find the optimal solution!

Exam Center for German Certificates

Our examination portfolio includes SDS, KDE and telc certificatess, all of which are fully recognized by migration authorities. Beyond our main locations, we offer thesx examinsation in all major German-speaking cities across Switzerland, including Zurich, Olten, Bern, Basael, Lucerne, St. Gallen and Wil.
